A look back at Florida-Auburn

Our new issue of The Kickoff lists Auburn as having the toughest FBS schedule in the nation so far in 2019. The Tigers play Arkansas and LSU on the road before finishing out the year with home games against Old Miss, Georgia, Samford, and Alabama.

Kickoff Editor Tommy Duff gave his weekly insights during his radio appearance. He questioned how well Florida’s quarterback would perform against Auburn’s stout defense. As it turns out, the real pressure was on freshman quarterback Bo Nix for the Tigers, who threw 3 interceptions and was 11 of 27.

The Gators shut down Auburn’s running game while Florida quarterback Kyle Trask not only beat the pass rush but returned from the locker room to fight his way through what looked like it could have been a season-ending injury immediately after the play. It was a sloppy game with both teams having 4 turnovers each.

Can Florida earn another top-10 win over LSU?
